Report: G5 to discuss anti-Russian sanctions prolongation Apr 25
MOSCOW, Apr 22 (PRIME) -- G5 countries -- the U.S., the U.K., Germany, Italy and France -- will discuss prolongation of anti-Russian sanctions at a meeting on April 25 in Germany’s Hanover, spokeswoman for the U.K. prime minister Helen Bower told Bloomberg on Friday.
The current E.U. sectorial economic sanctions against Russia will be in force until July 31. Sanctions against Crimea until June 23. Prolongation will be discussed by the European authorities in June, Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics said earlier.
U.S. President Barack Obama prolonged the existing anti-Russian sanctions for another year in March.
